Quote of Swami Vivekananda

Swami Vivekananda was a well known and most famous spiritual leader in India and abroad. In 1893, he represented India at the Parliament of the World's Religions in the United States and raised awareness about Hinduism. He has additionally presented ways of thinking of Vedanta and Yoga to the world. His Quotes are very inspirational and we can learn a lot of things.

One of the famous Quotes is “Money does not pay, nor name; fame does not pay, nor learning. It is love that pays; it is a character that cleaves its way through adamantine walls of difficulties.” I have collected some of the best Quotes and thought of Swami Vivekananda about "Money".

  • It is all right for those who have plenty of money and position to let the world roll on such, but I call him a traitor who, having been educated, nursed in luxury by the heart's blood of the downtrodden millions of toiling poor, never even takes a thought for them.
  • When you can give up money, friends, fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, all that is in the world and only pray to God that He grant you something of His love, then you have found salvation.
  • Neither money pays, nor name, nor fame, nor learning; it is a character that can cleave through adamantine walls of difficulties. Bear this in mind.
  • Money does not pay, nor name; fame does not pay, nor learning. It is love that pays; it is a character that cleaves its way through adamantine walls of difficulties.
  • If money helps a man to do good to others, it is of some value; but if not, it is simply a mass of evil, and the sooner it is got rid of, the better.
  • Whoever saw money make the man? It is a man that always makes money. The whole world has been made by the energy of man, by the power of enthusiasm, by the power of faith.
